Executive Overview

Energy Logistics

Storage creates value only when product moves on time, on specification and on record. Energy logistics is the coordination layer of the terminal: intra-terminal transfers executed on verified line-ups; blending and additive injection against written orders; truck and rail loading with metered, ticketed lifting; and pipeline batch interfaces agreed with connected parties. Because one operator coordinates every leg inside the fence, there is one schedule, one measurement standard and one accountable counterparty — instead of a chain of subcontracted hand-offs.

Integrated distribution infrastructure supports marine loading, road tanker dispatch, pipeline connectivity where available and rail interfaces at selected facilities. Product movements are coordinated through centralised scheduling to maximise operational efficiency while minimising turnaround times and maintaining uninterrupted downstream supply.

Every movement is a measured, documented custody event, rolled into daily reconciliation and your stock statements, so your schedulers and accountants can reconcile the whole operation without a single phone call.

Typical Applications

Programme-grade reporting

Consolidate lift-level detail into statements your schedulers and accountants can reconcile directly.

Distribution Connectivity & Centralised Scheduling

Integrated distribution infrastructure supports marine loading, road tanker dispatch, pipeline connectivity where available and rail interfaces at selected facilities. Product movements are coordinated through centralised scheduling to maximise operational efficiency while minimising turnaround times and maintaining uninterrupted downstream supply.

A single coordination point owns each movement order — quantity, route, line-up, rates and timing. Marine movements add berth scheduling and agent liaison; pipeline movements add batch windows agreed with the connected party; road and rail add gantry slotting and carrier registration. Sequencing all of these centrally ensures that a vessel discharge, a pipeline batch and a truck-loading programme never contend for the same tank, line or window.

Blending, Additive Injection & Quality Release

Blending turns logistics into margin. In-tank and in-line blending build finished grades against a written blend order defining components, quantities and target specification. Additive-injection capability supports octane, cold-flow, lubricity and marker requirements, including customer-supplied additive packages handled under controlled custody.

Component movements are metered; the result is sampled and tested by an accredited independent laboratory; and product is released only after quality verification against the target. The full record — order, metered movements, laboratory results and release approval — enters the parcel file, delivering complete blend traceability and documentation.

Loading, Metering & Documentation

Truck and rail loading run through multi-bay gantries with metered, additive-capable dispatch and per-lift ticketing that records product, temperature-corrected volume, seal numbers and carrier. Pipeline interfaces are custody-metered at the battery limit, with batches reconciled against the connected party's figures. Marine loading is operated to ISGOTT.

Every lift and every batch is a custody event: measured, ticketed and rolled into daily reconciliation and your stock statements. Exceptions are flagged the same day. The outcome is a logistics operation you can audit end to end, with one accountable operator standing behind every number.

Infrastructure Features

Engineered Terminal Infrastructure

The systems behind every service — each maintained, monitored and operated to institutional standards.

Heated Tanks

Insulated tankage with heating coils and circulation keeps viscous grades — fuel oil, feedstocks and heavy crudes — at pumpable temperature and on-specification.

Floating-Roof Tanks

Roofs that ride on the product surface minimise vapour space, evaporative loss and fire risk for crude and volatile white products.

Fixed-Roof Tanks

Pressure-vacuum-controlled fixed-roof tankage for lower-vapour and heated services, with managed breathing and overfill protection.

Tank-to-Tank Transfers

Controlled internal movements on verified line-ups for grade management, blending and maintenance windows, measured and documented as custody events.

Marine Loading Arms

Articulated ship–shore loading arms and hoses operated to ISGOTT, with emergency release and continuous watch during cargo transfer.

Truck & Rail Loading

Multi-bay loading gantries with metered, additive-capable dispatch and per-lift ticketing for road and rail distribution.

Pipeline Interfaces

Custody-metered pipeline connections to refineries, terminals and grids, with batch scheduling and interface management on multiproduct lines.

Custody-Transfer Metering

Proved flow meters and calibrated tank gauging establish opening and closing quantities under API MPMS-based procedures.

Sampling Systems

Representative sampling at receipt, in storage and at redelivery; samples are sealed, labelled and retained under an agreed retention protocol.

Laboratory Services

Testing through accredited independent laboratories verifies product against specification and supports blend release and dispute resolution.

Vapour Recovery

Vapour recovery and management systems, where installed, reduce emissions and evaporative loss during storage and loading.

Fire Protection Systems

Foam, cooling and detection systems sized to the tank-farm risk profile, with resources matched to credible fire scenarios.

SCADA Monitoring

Supervisory control and data acquisition provides real-time monitoring of levels, temperatures, flows and alarms across the terminal.

Control-Room Operations

A staffed control room coordinates movements, monitors instrumentation and holds authority over line-ups and emergency response.

Emergency Shutdown Systems

Independent emergency shutdown logic can safely halt transfers and isolate systems on demand or on defined trip conditions.

Customer Workflow

From Inquiry to Final Documentation

A clear, coordinated path — every stage owned, scheduled and documented.

01

Commercial Inquiry

You submit a storage requirement — product, volume, tenor and timing — through the Commercial Request Center or your account manager.

02

Qualification

Our commercial team assesses technical fit, capacity availability and commercial alignment, and confirms next steps.

03

NDA

A mutual non-disclosure agreement is executed so terminal specifications and commercial terms can be exchanged in confidence.
