Due Diligence

Counterparty Onboarding

We screen the counterparties we work with — and we expect to be screened in return. Both halves of that sentence are documented here.

What we verify about you

Our Screening Process

01

Identity & Ownership

Corporate registration, ownership structure and ultimate beneficial owners, verified against official registries.

02

Sanctions & Restricted-Party Screening

Counterparties, vessels and cargoes are screened against applicable sanctions and restricted-party lists before contract and on an ongoing basis.

03

Commercial Standing

References, trading history and financial standing appropriate to the tenor and value of the proposed agreement.

04

Cargo Provenance

Origin and documentation of product offered for storage, reviewed against sanctions and quality requirements before receipt is scheduled.

D

No Trading Conflict

The company does not trade petroleum products and holds no commodity positions against its customers. Neutrality is verifiable in our conduct and contracts.

From Inquiry to First Cargo

The Onboarding Path

STEP 1

Inquiry

Requirement profile submitted — service, product, volume, tenor. No commitment created.

STEP 2

Screening

KYC and sanctions screening both ways; NDA executed for exchange of specifications.

STEP 3

Commercial Terms

Structure agreed — term, spot or throughput — with service levels and measurement basis.

STEP 4

Agreement & Setup

Storage agreement executed; release protocol, authorized signatories and reporting cadence configured.

STEP 5

First Receipt

Nomination, tank allocation and opening custody measurement — the operating relationship begins.

How do I request information or terminal specifications?+
Submit the storage inquiry form or write to sales@crudetankersiii.com. After preliminary screening, specifications and documentation are exchanged under NDA. We respond to qualified inquiries within two business days.
What documents should I prepare as a new counterparty?+
Corporate registration documents, ownership/UBO disclosure, authorized signatory list, and — for cargo owners — product origin and quality documentation. Brokers should be prepared to disclose the principal they act for.
Do you work with intermediaries and brokers?+
Yes, where the principal is disclosed and passes screening. We do not enter storage arrangements with undisclosed principals.
How long does onboarding take?+
Screening and documentation typically complete within a standard onboarding window for counterparties with standard corporate structures; complex ownership structures may take longer.
